Lisa's designs are often quirky and always eye-catching as you can see in the images featured. Don't just take our word for it, here we have 10 quick questions with the very talented Lisa Jayne Millinery.

1. What do you love most about Millinery?
I love the creative freedom you have in millinery one is only limited by their own imagination.

2. How did you get into Millinery?
I originally studied art/design specialising in fashion/textiles then I went on to study costume it was whilst on this course we did a term of theatrical millinery. I was hooked. I then studied a further two years the art of millinery.

3.How you would describe your designs.
I would say my favourite designs are avant-garde

4. What is your ideal customer?
I love someone who is not afraid to stand out in a crowd who wants to be noticed.

5. What inspires you?
I love when someone contacts me and gives me a theme they are working on and asks me to create something inspired by that theme, many designers ask me to compliment their work so I then do my own research based on their theme whilst keeping in mind their collection.

6. If you could invite any milliner to tea who would it be?
Stephen Jones.

7. What is your favourite material to work with?
I don't have a particular favourite although I do love to up-cycle and recycle so I have been known to make headwear from CDs and plastic bottles.

8. Whats your best millinery tip?
Learn your art then be experimental.

9. If you had to make your last hat what would it be?
Something spectacular go out on a high.

10. Famous words to live by.
Love what you do, then you will never feel like your working another day in your life.
