Mandy Pan replied to Tara Bass's discussion How to make VERY flat brim on Fedora? Help.
"I will wire the brim to get a very flat style. You can either hide the wire by making a hem or use petersham ribbon to bind the edges."

Mandy Pan replied to Marco Carboni's discussion HOW MUCH SHOULD I SELL THIS HAT BLOCK FOR?
"Hi The hat block looks used and not "New" as you mentioned. It looks similar to ones sold by a UK seller and her price is US$250. You may consider along this price range. Ebay will be a good place to sell. Good luck selling."

Welcome to Hat Academy Mandy !

Might I say for a double career girl you are doing very well. I hope this site inspires you and gives you new skills. I made a decision in 1990 I was not returning to teaching but working from home to be with my 4 teens and through my millinery business put them through tertiary education. You must look forward to that day.

Had a holiday in Singapore and Bintan last year. Love Singapore.

Feel free to share your hat or headpiece creations, join in or start a hatters discussion. Remember online help is a click away.

To begin with Lessons check out our Get Started page. I am looking forward to sharing Millinery techniques, ideas and fashion news with you.

Enjoy, Elaine
