- I had a successful career in medical sales, and then, while on a family vacation in Hawaii, my husband was in an ocean accident and became permanently disabled overnight. I quit my job to care for him and have been doing so ever since his accident.
As much as I enjoy my time with my husband and helping him heal on his road to recovery, I’ve been yearning to do something fulfilling and rewarding on the side. I finally had that “a-ha” moment while attending the Kentucky Derby this year. The sight of such beautiful hats had me thinking that, using my decorating talent and sewing skills, I could make beautiful creations too!
So here I am ready to start an amazing adventure—creating hats and fascinators for others to enjoy!
