The hat is a combined purple and white color with lilac and white crin (horsehair) accents. It was hand blocked from a quality 1960s vintage Italian straw hood. A pretty church or sun hat for the upcoming summer events.

The brim has a flower shaped scalloped edge and has been wired so it will retain this shape.

It is a beautiful woven straw which has various shades of purple woven with the white base .

Accenting the hat is a large crin flower cluster in lilacs and whites backed with a deep purple moire ribbon bow that matches the crown band.

The hat is unlined except for the grosgrain sweatband.

Fits head size 23 1/2" or can fit slightly smaller size but will fit lower on the head.

The crin flowers were created using techniques from my book "Creating with Crin" which is available in another listing in the shop.
