› Half metre of straw one colour eg Purple + 45cm square of contrast colour eg hot pink sinamay.

› You also need to make 2 basic brims (2x ½ m of sinamay each)wired with no binding but ready for re styling

› The colours you choose need to combine with either (*5 metres )Black or White Rayon 5mm braid. Eg Red straw with Black braid or Black straw with white braid. In a later lesson on dyeing I will teach you simple ways to dye braid to match.
